E. Cleveland." Sarah was born at England circa 1849.² She married Henry William Coville at Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA, on 31 December 1870.^3,4

     He married Sarah Ann Court at Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA, on 31 December 1870.^2,3

     Frank was born on 24 March.

     Henry died at England.² Henry was born at Kent, England.³ He Arlien Sifleet's notes:

"d.- Eng. when young - whipped so hard abcesses developed."

     Widow was born. She First Settlers, p 37:

"Peter Bebout, married 2d, Sarah Darling, half-sister of William Parrot, Sen."

Parritt Homestead evidence says that she had 7 children with SAMUEL, two girls and five boys. Also, that Samuel (2) was the second son of hers. If all this is so, we are missing one son.

She married Thomas? Darling.³ As of 17 December 1713,her married name was PARROTT.³ She married SAMUEL PARROTT on 17 December 1713.³

     Thomas was born. He This Mr Darling cannot be the father of "our" Sarah Darling because he died, as the record below shows, in 1784 but WILLIAM PARROTT married the "widow Darling" (and mother of Sarah) in 1713.

Email from Marianne Frey, 22 Jul 2001:

"According to the New Jersey Abstracts of Wills, Thomas wrote a will in August 1777 naming wife Abigail, sons Lot and William, and granddaughter Hannah daughter of deceased son Samuel. The will wasn't proved until Thomas' death in 1784 -- he may have written it when he did because the neighborhood had just been through a devastating smallpox epidemic. (I have not been able to find out whether this caused Samuel's death.) Elsewhere I have come across additional children assigned to Thomas: Abigail and Sylvanus. Either they weren't his, or both died before 1777. But no Sarah, no Elizabeth."

He married Abigail (?). He made a will at New Jersey, USA, in August 1777.³ Thomas died on 5 February 1784 at New Providence, Essex, New Jersey, USA.^1,3

     Sarah Darling HALF-SISTER OF WILLIAM PARROTT.

First Settlers, p 37:

"Peter Bebout, married, 2d, Sarah Darling, half-sister of William Parrot, Sen...."

So SAMUEL PARROTT's 2d wife, the mother of WILLIAM, married a Mr Darling, after SAMUEL's death, and had Sarah. We surmise that she was widowed by Sam since Sarah was born (according to LDS evidence) abt 1728, whereas her Parrott sons have birthdates, 1714 and 1716.

New Providence Presbyterian Records, Deaths, 1793:

"Bebout, the Widow, d. Feb. 2."

Baptisms, 1783:

"Bebout, "Widow Sarah Bebout, two of her children Stephen & Nancy", April 9."

It is curious that she is called a widow on 9 Apr 1783 when the same records give his death as 23 Aug 1784:

[There is a note attached explaining that the original list and heading is in one ink and handwriting, and that the remaining list, which includes Sarah Bebout, consists of different inks, implying later additions to the list, but not dated ones. Presumably her name, as widow, was added after 1783 or 1784.]

Sarah Bebout is a witness to Daniel Clark's will about 1756 in Elizabethtown; WILLIAM PARROTT is an executor along with ABIGAIL, Daniel's wife, soon to be WILLIAM's wife. This is probably Sarah (Darling) Bebout here.⁴ Sarah was born at ?Piscataway, NJ, before 17 December 1713.² Her married name was Bebout.^5,2 She married Peter Bebout.^5,2 Sarah died on 2 February 1793 at New Providence, Essex, New Jersey, USA.³
