Her last name comes from an IGI Record. Mahala was born on 9 August 1845.³ She married James Madison Howell on 26 January 1860.^4,5 Mahala died on 1 February 1901 at age 55.⁶ Her body was interred at Lincoln, Missouri, USA, at Fairview Cemetery.⁷

Charlotte was born on 8 October 1875.² She married J E Weber.³ Charlotte died on 5 December 1905 at age 30.² Her body was interred at Lincoln, Missouri, USA, at Fairview Cemetery.⁴

The name Rosina comes from the notes on the back of the photo, written by Anna Howell Palmer. She married Hermann Hammond.² Rosina was born on 6 June 1863.³ Rosina died on 14 June 1886 at age 23.⁴ Her body was interred at Lincoln, Missouri, USA, at Fairview Cemetery.²

"HISTORY OF MORROW COUNTY, 1911 by Baughman, page 504

Mellville Parrott ... is a son of Simeon S. and Mary Hiddleson Parrott, the former of whom was a native of Washington county, Pennsylvania, and the latter of whom claimed Morrow county, Ohio, as the place of her birth. Both were born in the year 1818, and the father came to Morrow county, Ohio, in the year 1837, settling on a farm near Mount Gilead. Mrs. Parrott came to this county with her parents, as a young girl, and her marriage was solemnized in September, 1840. To this union were born the following children: Nelson, Clark, Mellville, Louise and Dora. Nelson and Clark are both deceased; Mellville is the immediate subject of this review; Louise is the wife of N. N. Hiskett, and resides in Morrow county; and Dora married I. M. Lautz, of Vinton county. Simeon S. Parrott died in 1904 and his cherished wife was sumoned to eternal rest in 1901. Mary was born at Morrow, Ohio, USA, in 1818.² She married Simeon S Parrott at Morrow, Ohio, USA, in September 1840.³ Mary died in 1901 at Mount Gilead, Morrow, Ohio, USA.⁴

"AARON THOMPSON, (brother of Thomas and Moses Thompson) came up , and settled on Long Hill, on lot No. 31 addition of the Elizabethtown lots. He had children:

"JOHN THOMPSON, (son of Hur Thompson) had seven children. He lived a short distance east of the residence of the late General William Crane, about two miles west of Elizabethtown. The seven children were:

1. Thomas, who married 1st, Hannah Rushmore, of Hempstead, Long Island; 2d, Rachel Shotwell, widow of Benjamin, of Piscataway.

2. Moses, who settled near the Church, in Connecticut Farms, and died there.

3. Aaron, who settled on Long Hill, in Morris county, and died in the time of the French War.

4. Hannah, who married Thomas Baker, and with him removed to Turkey, now New Providence, Essex county....

5. Sarah married 1st, Mr. Van Sickle, of Long Hill, and had a daughter, Elizabeth, who married Jacob Britton, son of William.... Sarah married 2d. Mr. Rutan, who had a son, Peter, who lived in Albany, N. Y. She married 3d, James Enos, or Innes, of Long Hill.

6. Patience married Mr. Willis, of Short Hills, in Westfield township, and had children, but her descendants are not now known.

7. Betsey married William Cauldwell, son of James, of Long Hill...."

     Thomas was born on 25 January 1712.¹ Thomas died on 2 November 1803 at age 91.¹

     Hannah was born. She married Thomas Baker Jr.¹ Hannah died on 7 December 1784 at New Providence, Essex, New Jersey, USA.²

     He married Keziah Dunham on 20 June 1807.²

     She married Noah Beach at New Providence Church, New Providence, Essex, New Jersey, USA, on 3 July 1791.^3,2

     She married Phinebas Beach on 20 October 1795.²
