     Lucy E Sanders Bellenfant Family: "Lucy E. Sanders, b. 21 Oct 1874, d. 10 Oct 1961, m. 20 Nov 1892 Giles Co. Tn. to Wiley Turner Abernathy, Sr. b. 4 mar 1860, d. 10 Aug 1941, son of Benjamin Franklin Abernathy (b. c1827)." Lucy was born on 21 October 1874.² Lucy was adopted at Giles, Tennessee, USA, after 7 December 1886.¹ She married Wiley Turner Abernathy Sr at Giles, Tennessee, USA, on 20 November 1892.² Lucy died on 10 October 1961 at age 86.²

Added 6/24/90 from information sent by Alvy Smith, obtained on a recent visit to Pulaski and with Elizabeth Witt White: ``Mr. Abernathy, was a long time owner and operator of Abernathy Hardware and a member of the Board of Directors of the Union Bank in Pulaski. His parents were the late Wiley T. and Lucy Sanders Abernathy. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pulaski.'' [From an obituary in the Giles County Journal, Tuesday, June 12, 1990. The death date is from this obituary also, as the information about his wife and children.] He was buried June 5, 1990, in Maplewood Cemetery of Pulaski. Charles was born on 6 November 1893.¹ He married Maggie Gray.² Charles died on 3 June 1990 at Pulaski, Giles, Tennessee, USA, at age 96.² His body was interred on 5 June 1990 at Pulaski, Giles, Tennessee, USA, at Maplewood Cemetery.²
