     Ophelia Day Wilson Cindy Richins: "Mary C Wilson died Oct 1905 in Wise Co, she is buried Ball Knob Cemetery. she appears on the 1880 and 1900 census of Wise Co. Ophelia had 11 siblings." Ophelia was born at Texas, USA, in February 1854.² She married Green Anderson Miller in 1877. 1900 Census implies c 1878.^3,2 Ophelia was listed as the head of a family on the in 1910 Census at Wise, Texas, USA.⁴

     Isaac Miller Green Edward Miller's Family History 1922:

"I was in Arkansas 5 or 6 months fall of 1876. Only time I was ever with grandfather Isaac Miller. He was then too old to work; fine looking white haired old gentleman. Sat in a rocker and seemed very kind to all. I remember vividly his peeling a white artichoke with his knife and giving me to eat. I was again in Arkansas May & June of 1925." [This quote duplicates almost exactly another one in the book.]

Montriell (Montraville) was found 1880 Census Monroe Township, Sevier Co, Arkansas, wife Mary, and son Isaac M Miller, Issac M was age 9M on the census, and Montriell is how the name is listed." Isaac was born on 15 August 1808.¹ He married Polly Hainline at Tazewell, Illinois, USA, on 18 July 1830.^1,4 He married Mahala Waldron in February 1851.¹ Isaac died on 7 February 1881 at Ultima Thule, Sevier, Arkansas, USA, at age 72.⁵

     Polly was born on 21 February 1813.¹ She married Isaac Miller at Tazewell, Illinois, USA, on 18 July 1830.^1,2 Polly died on 9 July 1850 at Illinois, USA, at age 37.¹

     Mahala was born. She married Isaac Miller in February 1851.¹

     Montraville died at Sevier, Arkansas, USA.¹ He See text for father. Montraville was born on 10 February 1853.¹ He married Mary Ferguson on 3 November 1878.¹

     Mary was born. She married Montraville (Montriell) Miller on 3 November 1878.¹

     William was born on 16 September 1831.¹ William died on 30 November 1880 at Kansas, USA, at age 49.¹

     Emily was born on 3 March 1833.¹ She married Robert Kamph at Tazewell, Illinois, USA, on 18 January 1855.²

     Martin Valentine Miller Miller's Family History gives name and date as shown. Long's GEDCOM gives name as Martin C Miller b abt 1834.

The letter from Isaac Miller to one of his sons, transcribed in Miller's Family History, calls him "Mart" at one point, so it is almost surely Martin. The letter makes clear that Mart has a wife and children: "Mart my son if you could only feel the longing desire to see you your wife and above all your children. Oh, if I could be blessed with the sight of you and all of yours you are father and can anticipate my feelings." Martin was born on 5 February 1835.¹

     Amassa "Massie" "Mattie" Miller Miller's Family History refers to Aunt Mattie and Aunt Massie, as if they were interchangeable. For example, he refers to both of them in the same paragraph when talking about his great grandfather. Then later he refers to "Aunt Massie Dillon" then proceeds to list 2 Dillon children followed by the comment: "Below are Aunt Mattie's own children" after which he lists 5 more Dillon children. Amassa was born on 19 November 1836.¹ She married (?) Dillon before 1867. Stella Dillon b 17 Feb 1867 is listed under "Aunt Mattie's own children". There are two older Dillon children but they are listed before this comment. I therefore am assuming that they were products of a former marriage of Mr Dillon..^1,2

     William Miller From Family History 1922 by Green Edward Miller:

"Also once saw her [Aunt "Mattie"'s] great grandfather Wm Miller - a white haired fine well bred old gentleman. Also her great grandmother Miller was a fine aristocratic old lady."

Also: "William and Hannah ( ____ ) Miller born January 20th and December 23 1775 were the parents of Isaac Miller who married Pollie Hainline and Isaac and Pollie were the parents of Green Anderson Miller who in Texas in 1866 married Ann Mildred Parson who were the parents of Green Edward Miller the writer of this sketch." William was born on 20 January 1775.¹ He married Hannah Walker before 1797.¹

     Hannah Walker Source of Hannah's surname is this email communication from James W. Greene of Athens, GA, 28 Dec 2002:

"For years, the only thing I knew about Hannah Walker, was her birthdate, 23 Dec. 1775, and she married William Miller."

See her father Samuel Walker for the complete family she is part of, as provided by Greene. Hannah was born on 23 December 1775.² She married William Miller before 1797.²

     Franky was born in 1797.¹

     Walker was born in 1799.¹

     Wiley was born in 1801.¹

     Wilberly was born in 1803.¹
