Southwell Bolin Details: "Fountainella married William O'Neil in 1858. They had two children James and William. William died on 10 Dec 1860. Fountainella married Thomas E. Jackson on 9 Apr 1862. They had 12 children at least."

Also: "Tranquilla and Fountainella started a Methodist Church in MO. They are buried there."

The 1860 Stone Co MO Census:

New Liberty United Methodist Church founding papers lists the following charter members on 17 Oct 1877:

From obituary:

"...
Fountainella, wife of the late Thomas E. Jackson, was born December 1, 1842, in Tennessee and died June 18, 1927, at her home on Kings Prairie. While yet a child she moved with her parents to near where Cape Fair, stone county, is now located. At the outreak of the Civil war she moved with her husband and children to near Mount Vernon, where the family resided while the husband served in the Union Army. At the close of the war the family settled on the farm on Kings Prairie that has since been their home. They were among the first settlers in that vicinity.

Mrs. Jackson was th mother of fourteen children, ten of whom are still living. They are W. J. Oneal of Hedley, Texas; Joseph A. of Whittier, Calif; Luther, of Lebanon, Mo; Frank, Felix, Charles, Ira, Mrs. Norman E. Spain, Mrs. Ed Long and Mrs. W. R. Henderson all of Monett and vicinity. In addition to her children, she leaves thirty-seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and innumerable other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Mrs. Jackson was converted at an early age and united with the old Liberty church at the time of its organization. She was the last charter member of that body.

She was a twin sister of the late Mrs. H. C. Dummit. An interesting story is told of the naming of the twin sisters. Their grandmother Bolen named Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Dummit from characters in a book she was reading at the time, which struck her fancy. The babies were named Fountainella and Tranquilla. The sisters were never far separated in life. They were married about the same time and settled on adjoining farms where they remained as long as they lived. Their graves in the cemetery are not far apart.
..." Fountainella was born at Tennessee, USA, on 1 December 1842. Jackson Family Bible: "Fran. & Jount Dec 1 & 2, 1842" is the way it is transcribed on the website but the way I read a copy of the original is "Tran. & Fount - Dec 1&2 - 1842". I'm not sure if the "1&2" means "1 or 2" or whether it means one twin was born slightly before midnight 1 Dec and the other slightly after midnight 2 Dec.

Southworth evidence says 01 December, 1842.

Tombstone photographs gives1 Dec 1842 for both..^{7,8,3,9,5,6,10} She married William O'Neal in 1858.^1,2 She married Thomas E Jackson Jr on 9 April 1862.^11,1,2,6 Fountainella died on 18 June 1927 at Stone, Missouri, USA, at age 84.^11,5,6 Her body was interred on 19 June 1927 at Purdy, Barry, Missouri, USA, at Kings Prairie Cemetery.⁵

     John was born at Giles, Tennessee, USA, on 6 March 1849.^1,2,3 John died in August 1863 at age 14.³

     He married Betty Harvey.¹ Alexander was born at Missouri, USA, circa 1845. 1850 census: 5, MO.^2,3

     She married John Cheatham (Chatham).¹

     He married Minnie Ola Gililland.¹

     Leland was born on 21 November 1897.¹ Leland died on 13 November 1980 at age 82.¹

     James was born on 20 September 1902.¹ James died on 5 February 1958 at age 55.¹

     Charlotte was born on 24 May 1904.¹ She married (?) Murphy before 14 March 1925. First child b 14 Mar 1925.¹ Charlotte died on 21 December 1968 at age 64.¹

     Myrtle was born on 16 February 1911.¹ Myrtle died on 11 August 1968 at age 57.¹

     Lois was born on 1 November 1912.¹ She married (?) Asbill before 10 October 1931.² Lois died in December 1986 at age 74.¹

     He married Lois Gililland before 10 October 1931.¹

     He married Charlotte Josephine Gililland before 14 March 1925. First child b 14 Mar 1925.¹

     Jimmie was born on 21 August 1924.¹ Jimmie died on 20 December 1994 at age 70.¹

     James was born on 16 February 1935.¹ James died on 1 November 1940 at age 5.¹

     Minnie was born on 13 February 1898.¹ Minnie died on 6 November 1990 at age 92.¹
