This refers to Teresa Wilson Wiese's quote from EARLY SETTLERS OF ALABAMA:
"Of these [children of John Saunders mentioned in his will of 1700], John and Edward Saunders made a deed (1707) to William Barber gent, which John's wife Mary, also signed ... The son John Saunders, married (before 1707) Mary, daughter of Robert Hyde (d. 1718)..."

One source quoted, ANCESTOR LINEAGES OF COLONIAL DAMES, gives his wife's name as Jane Hyde.

"There was some confusion with William Lowe's wife Margaret Fehr as her father was Johanes Fehr but started using the name of Barney Fehr (signed his documents both ways) then the Lowe children started using the Fehr name spelled as Fair or Farr (probably pronounced that way) as people just wrote a name the way it sounded it confused the research process."
