Religion: Presbyterian.² He married Abigail Gibbs on 28 July 1811.¹ Hugh died on 14 November 1822 at Elizabethtown, Essex, New Jersey, USA, at age 32. His body was interred at Essex, New Jersey, USA.³

First Settlers, p 31: "and whose daughter, Mary [Ball], married Robert Cauldwell, son of William Cauldwell, of Passaic Valley, and went to Ohio"

Mentioned in his father's will. He married Mary Ball.¹ Robert was born at Morris, New Jersey, USA, on 13 September 1762. LDS evidence gives place as "By Passaic River, Morris Co, Nj".^1,2 Robert died in February 1841 at Near Covington, Warren, Indiana, USA, at age 78. Covington is now in Fountain Co.² His body was interred at Warren, Indiana, USA.²
