     Mary was born at Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 10 December 1875.² She married James "Jim" Kell at "Plain View", Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 24 June 1903.³ Mary died on 3 October 1955 at Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, at age 79.² Her body was interred at Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, at Tumut Cemetery.

Hargreaves Book, p 103:

"This marriage linked the Hargreaves to another pioneer family in the district. Jim Kell's father had migrated from Scotland in 1837 and settled at Melbourne. They moved to Berrima in NSW and commenced a carrying business delivering their first load of merchandise to Tumut in 1856. In 1860 James Kell settled at Lacmalac and built his home "Kelvin Grove" there. Jim Kell and Mary made their home at Lacmalac also ..." This might mean that Jim's father's name is James too. James was born at Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 24 August 1873. He married Mary Susannah Hargreaves at "Plain View", Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 24 June 1903.²

     John was born at Blowering, Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 9 June 1879.² He married Annie Williams in 1924.² John died on 14 October 1967 at Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia, at age 88.²

     Ida Clarissa Hargreaves Never married. Ida was born at Forest Camp, Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 14 November 1886.² Ida died on 23 February 1925 at age 38.²

Edith was born at Forest Camp, Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 27 October 1888.² She married William H Crampton at Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 8 April 1961.² Edith died on 1 January 1981 at Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia, at age 92.³ Her body was interred on 5 January 1981 at Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, at Tumut Cemetery.⁴

One son of Jane Hargreaves Reid lived "almost a hermit's existence on a property of the late Harold Hargreaves at Blowering until his death in 1966 (he had been a Boer War and World War I veteran).'' Source: an article by Colin Hargreaves in "Tumut & District Sesqui Centenary'' selected photocopied pages of which were mailed to Bill Sanders by the Tumut Tourist Information Centre in 1980. I don't know which of Jane's sons this is. Harold was born at Plain View, Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 12 November 1891.² He married Thelma LeFevre in 1946.² Harold died on 15 January 1966 at Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, at age 74.²

I met Colin and Lucy at the Israel Hargreaves family reunion in Kenedy, TX, April 24, 1988. Colin was born at Tumut, New South Wales, Australia, on 15 September 1909. He married Lucy Miles Scriven at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 11 May 1935. His body was interred in 1995 at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia, at Memorial Garden-Church. Colin died in 1995 at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia.

     He married Myee McLennan.

I verified this information when she visited the Israel Hargreaves family reunion in Kenedy, TX, April 24, 1988. Lucy died in January 1997 in Belmont, NSW. Lucy was born at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 29 November 1913. She married Colin Harvey James Hargreaves at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 11 May 1935. Lucy died in January 1997 at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia, at age 83.
