"57. Cyrenus Riggs (son of Joseph, Esq., Joseph, Edward, Edward, Edward) was born in Orange, N.J., about 1750. He married Esther Crane, daughter of Samuel Crane. As a soldier in the Revolution he was credited to Bergen County, N.JU., and no doubt lived there. About 1791 they removed to Amsterdam, N.Y. The date of marriage has not been determined, nor the number of their children, five of whom, however, have been established with certainty, as follows:

Isaac, b. November 8, 1779, m. Catherine Seaman and had issue.
Electa, b. about 1781, m. David Crane, of Crane's Village.
Ogden, b. about 1783, m. Joanna Crane, of Crane's Village.
Abraham, b. about 1785, m. and had issue.

     Caleb Smith Riggs [Wa41] Wallace, 21-2:

"41. Caleb S. Riggs (son of Joseph, Esq., Joseph, Edward, Edward, Edward) was born at Orange, N.J., about 1755. There was a Smith Riggs in the Revolutionary army, and as Caleb was named after the Rev. Caleb Smith, at one time pastor of the church at Orange, it may be presumed that he was in the army. He married Abigail Burnet, and he had a family of one son and six daughters. Two of the daughters died unmarried, and the son died also leaving no heirs. He was a very prominent lawyer in the chancery courts, and he practised a number of years in New York. After 1825 his name disappears from the public records of Newark, and it thus becomes evident he died about that time." Caleb was born at Orange, Essex, New Jersey, USA, circa 1755. 1756 in one place in Wallace..^2,3 He married Abigail J Burnet.⁴ Caleb Smith Riggs [Wa41] was living on 31 January 1798; will of father, Joseph Riggs, Newark.⁵ He died on 26 June 1826 at Newark, Essex, New Jersey, USA.⁶

The Bellenfant evidence has Jonathan Evans father of Theophelus Evans. It is not clear that these two Jonathan's are the same generation.

"Lott Evans (Welch Quaker, friend of William Penn, died onboard Welcome prior to landing in 1682)." Lott died before 1682 at onboard "Welcome", At sea.¹
