Ahira Brooks A teamster in the Revolutionary War. His affidavit justifying Polly Stow Williams as EBENEZER DURAND's widow is in EBENEZER's NARA (National Archives and Records Administration) pension file. In this affidavit he states that his wife Sarah is Polly Stow's sister. He also states that he has known Polly for over 70 yrs, "ever since she was a child". So he would have known her as early as ca 1784; she was b ca 1775.
