Also, "Sally M. Johnson was married to Robert R. Gill, on Thursday evening April 26th, 1832, being then fourteen years, 11 months & 15 days old, by the Rev. A.H. Brown." [This would give her birthday as 11 May 1817]

Also: "Sally M. Gill died at Bastrop (?) on the 7th of June 1867 [might be a (?) here] aged 50 years 26 days." This makes her birthday 12 May 1817.

McClaran was his Sec. He was a physician, and in 1850 he was residing with his sister, Ann Nelson. In 1860 he was in Poinsett Co., Ark census. When Cross Co. was formed in 1862 from Poinsett, he was the first County Clerk and served two terms, 1863-66 (from "Naming a Confederate County, Corss Co., Ark. 1862-1873", p.8). In 1868 he was residing near Memphis, Tn."
