Louisa was born at Giles, Tennessee, USA, on 19 August 1831.^3,4,5 She was the daughter of Yelly (Yearly) (Early) Bolling (Bolin) and Lucy E Sanders. She married James Monroe Wells at Giles, Tennessee, USA, on 16 September 1852.^5,1,6,2 Louisa died on 7 December 1904 at Erath, Texas, USA, at age 73.⁵

     Susannah Bolling (Bolin) is the daughter of Yelly (Yearly) (Early) Bolling (Bolin) and Lucy E Sanders. She married Elisha (Elijah) Edwards in 1849.^1,2,3 She married Daniel J Barlow on 20 January 1888. Both Bolin Details and Yelly BOLIN family data evidence provided by Shirley Southwell. The Barlow marriage dates differ, however, 20 Jan 1888 in the former v 1849 in the latter..^3,4

     Almira Josephine Bolling (Bolin) is the daughter of Yelly (Yearly) (Early) Bolling (Bolin) and Lucy E Sanders. She married Oscar Rogers on 21 August 1853.^3,1,4

     William Henry Bolling (Bolin) is the son of Yelly (Yearly) (Early) Bolling (Bolin) and Lucy E Sanders. He married Martha Jane Mitchell on 13 December 1860.^1,2

     Tranquilla Bolling (Bolin) Lucy Bolen Estate, 29 Jul 1858, lists heir "Franquilla Demmint", which has to be Tranquilla who m Hiram Dummit.

Southwell Bolin Details: "Tranquilla Dummit. The name is Dumit, Dummit or Dummitt. No other spelling. The Dummits came from KY. ... They left there to to come to MO. Hiram Dummit met Tranquilla and they were married."

Also: "Tranquilla and Fountainella started a Methodist Church in MO. They are buried there."

See text for her twin sister Fountainella for a story of their naming. Tranquilla was born at Tennessee, USA, on 2 December 1842. Jackson Family Bible: "Fran. & Jount Dec 1 & 2, 1842" is the way it is transcribed on the website but the way I read a copy of the original is "Tran. & Fount - Dec 1&2 - 1842". I'm not sure if the "1&2" means "1 or 2" or whether it means one twin was born slightly before midnight 1 Dec and the other slightly after midnight 2 Dec.

Southworth evidence says 01 December, 1842.

Here is the answer, in an email from Mary Lou Bolen Sneed, 4 Sep 2001:

"Fountainella was borned just before midnight on Dec 1 while Tranquilla was borned Dec 2nd just after midnight. They were inseparable even after marriage and family.".^7,8,3,9,10 She was the daughter of Yelly (Yearly) (Early) Bolling (Bolin) and Lucy E Sanders. She married Hiram Conway Dummit at Stone, Missouri, USA, on 22 November 1857.¹¹ Tranquilla died on 27 December 1919 at Missouri, USA, at age 77.^11,9 Her body was interred at Purdy, Barry, Missouri, USA, at Kings Prairie Cemetery. Shirley Southwell, in an email, verified that Kings Prairie Cemetery is near Purdy, MO..⁹

     Fountainella Bolling (Bolin) Lucy Bolen Estate, 29 Jul 1858, lists heir "Fonntainelelor O'Neal"

Southwell Bolin Details: "Fountainella married William O'Neil in 1858. They had two children James and William. William died on 10 Dec 1860. Fountainella married Thomas E. Jackson on 9 Apr 1862. They had 12 children at least."

Also: "Tranquilla and Fountainella started a Methodist Church in MO. They are buried there."

"...
Fountainella, wife of the late Thomas E. Jackson, was born December 1, 1842, in Tennessee and died June 18, 1927, at her home on Kings Prairie. While yet a child she moved with her parents to near where Cape Fair, stone county, is now located. At the outreak of the Civil war she moved with her husband and children to near Mount Vernon, where the family resided while the husband served in the Union Army. At the close of the war the family settled on the farm on Kings Prairie that has since been their home. They were among the first settlers in that vicinity.

Mrs. Jackson was th mother of fourteen children, ten of whom are still living. They are W. J. Oneal of Hedley, Texas; Joseph A. of Whittier, Calif; Luther, of Lebanon, Mo; Frank, Felix, Charles, Ira, Mrs. Norman E. Spain, Mrs. Ed Long and Mrs. W. R. Henderson all of Monett and vicinity. In addition to her children, she leaves thirty-seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and innumerable other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Mrs. Jackson was converted at an early age and united with the old Liberty church at the time of its organization. She was the last charter member of that body.

She was a twin sister of the late Mrs. H. C. Dummit. An interesting story is told of the naming of the twin sisters. Their grandmother Bolen named Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Dummit from characters in a book she was reading at the time, which struck her fancy. The babies were named Fountainella and Tranquilla. The sisters were never far separated in life. They were married about the same time and settled on adjoining farms where they remained as long as they lived. Their graves in the cemetery are not far apart.
