     Samuel Plum is the son of John Plum.

     John was born. He "gr. dau. of John Plum, of Dorchester, Mass., of Wethersfield, Conn., later, and finally of Branford, Conn. Before deputies were introduced into Connecticut, John Plum was a chief officer. He was a representative in 1641 and twice afterward. He d. before 1648." John died before 1648.²

     She married Henry Pierson.² Jemima Ogden [Og8] is the daughter of John Ogden Jr [Og2] and Elizabeth Plum.

     Elizabeth Swaine is the daughter of Samuel Swaine and Johanna _.¹ She married David Ogden [Og3] circa 1676.²

     Rebecca was born in November 1648.¹ She married Jonathan Ogden [Og4] circa 1675.² Rebecca died on 11 September 1723 at age 74.¹

     Hannah was born. She married Benjamin Ogden [Og6] circa 1679.^1,2

     John was born at Sturry, Kent, England, in 1637.¹ He married Mary Ogden [Og7].^2,1 He married Mary Parkhurst.¹ He married an unknown person in February 1659.¹ John died on 27 April 1691 at Elizabethtown, Essex, New Jersey, USA.^2,1

     He married Dr Joy Mignon Lockwood at Amarillo, Potter, Texas, USA, on 22 August 1998.¹

     Rebecca Goodrich is the daughter of Daniel T Goodrich and Abigail Parrott. She married Silas Gray on 6 September 1866.¹

     David C Goodrich is the son of Daniel T Goodrich and Abigail Parrott. He married Alma Letcher on 6 September 1866.¹

     Elizabeth A Goodrich is the daughter of Daniel T Goodrich and Abigail Parrott. She married John W Goodale on 8 January 1857.¹

     William was born at Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, USA, on 7 February 1805.¹ He was the son of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels. William died on 18 July 1887 at age 82.¹

     Matthew was born at Germany Valley, York?, Pennsylvania, USA, on 6 August 1788.¹ He was the son of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels. Matthew died in 1862.¹

     Andrew was born at Germany Valley, York?, Pennsylvania, USA, on 2 October 1791.¹ He was the son of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels. Andrew died on 23 April 1865 at age 73.¹

     Robin was born at Germany Valley, York?, Pennsylvania, USA, in 1792.¹ He was the son of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels.

     He married Mary Crownover.¹ David was born at Germany Valley, York?, Pennsylvania, USA, on 21 April 1797.^2,3 He was the son of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels. David died in 1883.²

     James was born at Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, USA, in 1800.¹ He was the son of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels. James died in 1864.¹

     Margaret was born at Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, USA, on 13 December 1802.¹ She was the daughter of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels. Margaret died on 18 September 1873 at age 70. "Prob Pa." (place is probably PA).¹

"I believe our John [JOHN RICHARDSON GILILLAND] is the older brother of Mathias, perhaps Robert. They can probably be found in KY or PA. They were too young to serve in the Rev. War but their father could have served. Land Applications list the names of wife and children, birth dates and place of birth. I have not searched these."

From "The Loving Irish - The Gillilands", p 142, quoting the 1850 Lincoln Co, MO Census:

"Robert, age 43, wife Ann Moore. He was a farmer. b. Kentucky, 1810. His wife was b. 1809. All their children were b. Mo., except Benjamin, age 23, b. Kentucky. The rest were: John R., 20; Mary A. 14; Martha, 12; Elizabeth, 10; William H., 8; Robert D., 6; Matilda, 3: and George W., 5 months. Census taken Sept. 11, 1850"

The 1830 Lincoln Co Census has:

Robert Gilliland 2M <5, 1M 20-<30, 1F 20-<30

[quite difficult to read]

Note that the 1850 data implies that, for 1830, Robert would be 20 (or 23), Ann would be 21, Benjamin 3, John R just born and no others. This is consistent with the 1830 census data.

The 1840 Lincoln Co Census has:

Robt Gililland 2M 5-<10, 1M 30-<40, 2F <5, 2F 5-<10, 1F 30-<40

The 1850 data implies that, for 1840, Robert would be 30 (or 33), Ann would be 31, Benjamin 13, John R 10, Mary 4, Martha 2, Elizabeth either just born or not yet born. The parents fit, the 2 youngest daughters fit, but the others don't. We might account for the 2M simply having been put one column wrong, but the 2F 5-<10 are a puzzle.

The Gililland Tree website lists:

Robert Gililland's will, 21 Mar 1873 lists his wife Anne and the following children:

The LDS family group sheet evidence gives his birthplace as Indiana PA, 1807. The birth info for wife Annie is in agreement between the different evidences, but not for Robert, so it is still in question.

The 1850 Census info quoted in The Loving Irish evidence gives his age as 43 (implies 1807) but then says he was born 1810!

Son Benjamin b abt 1827.^12,11 Robert was listed as the head of a family on the in 1830 Census at Lincoln, Missouri, USA.³ Robert was listed as the head of a family on the in 1840 Census at Lincoln, Missouri, USA.⁴ Robert was listed as the head of a family on the in 1850 Census at Lincoln, Missouri, USA.¹¹ Robert died in 1873 at Lincoln, Missouri, USA.¹⁰

     Samuel was born at Germany Valley, York?, Pennsylvania, USA, in 1809.¹ He was the son of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels.

     Alexander Gililland There is a tombstone in the Gililland section of the Sulphur Lick Cemetery, Millwood Twp, Lincoln Co, MO for Alexander Hantrum Gililland that MIGHT be this Alexander, but the dates and locations do not quite fit:

"Alexander Hantrum Gililland born in Lincoln Co., Mo Dec. 12, 1813 died March 13? 1896? aged 72 Ys 2 Ms 22 Ds". The middle A in Alexander looks more like an I and the first letter of Hantrum might be an M or an N instead. The death date that makes sense with the birthdate and age is Mar 3, 1886. Alexander was born at Germany Valley, York?, Pennsylvania, USA, in 1810.² He was the son of John Gililland and Hannah Michaels. Alexander died in 1871.²

     Alford M Sanders From "Century Review of Maury County Tennessee 1807-1907" by D P Robbins, p 307:

"Allen [Saunders] was son of Alford M. (1774-1865) and Sallie (b.1802, d.84) (Harris) Saunders ... . Alford [Saunders] was son of James (who died age 108) and ---- (Walker) Saunders"

Alford was born at Rockingham, North Carolina, USA, on 23 October 1792.¹ He was the son of James Sanders Jr and Sarah Walker. He married Sarah W "Sallie" Harris before 1818.¹ Alford died in 1865 at Maury, Tennessee, USA.¹
