Charles Augustus (Gus) Sanger was many things to many people, a devoted father and husband. The family moved from Hood River, Oregon to Medford Oregon in 1926, we first lived in a public camp grounds which now would be in the City Center of Medford. Dad worked for many years for the C.M.Kidd shoe store as a shoe repairman. At the beginning of the depression years he was forced to give up his employment with C.M.Kidd, but he had managed to acquire 40 acres of land on the Little Applegate River, he cleared the land, built a house, and managed to make a comfortable living for his family. About 1937 in order to send his children to High School, Dad sold the Applegate property and moved to Jacksonville Oregon, and again established a shoe business, he was active in community affairs, and both he and Mother became Noble Grands of the Odd Fellow and Rebecca Lodges at the same time. Dad and Mother are both buried in the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Jacksonville Oregon. The Applegate property is now owned by Kirstie Allie of (Cheers Movie fame)." He married Luda Elizabeth "Ludy" Parrott at Grand Island, Hall, Nebraska, USA, on 9 April 1901.^2,1

"I Glen Sanger did the best I could. born in Hood RIver Oregon in 1920, moved with parents and two sisters (Betty and Bonnie) to Medford Oregon in 1927, our first place of abode in Medford, was a public camp grounds just across the Bear creek bridge on Main Street. The family moved to the Little Applegate abt, 1932, we moved again to Jacksonville Oregon abt, 1937. remained there until WW2, served in the US Army until 1946 in the Philippines, was discharged from Bataan, Philippine Islands. Returned back to Jacksonville Oregon married, and went into business with Lee Graham (Glen and Lee's Paint and Body Shop). eventually selling out to Lee. We again moved to Eugene Oregon, where we had our three children, I was at this time working as a Pipe fitter, moved from Eugene to Tuscon Arizona in 1969 where we have since resided. Retiring in 1982. The time living on the Applegate was one of the most memorable times of my life. This property now belongs to Kristie Allie, star of the TV series CHEERS."

     Elder Daniel Cory First Settlers: "Elder Daniel Cory, of Long Hill" (p314). And "Daniel Cory lived on the north side of Long Hill, where Israel Bebout, his grandson, now lives. He was an elder in the Presbyterian church in New Providence" (p95). He married Martha Bedell.² Daniel was born circa 1733.³ Daniel died on 26 June 1815.²

She was baptized at New Providence Presbyterian, New Providence, Essex, New Jersey, USA, on 21 September 1766. Religion: Presbyterian.¹ Martha died on 9 April 1791.²

     Susannah Cory is the daughter of Elder Daniel Cory and Martha Bedell. She married Gideon Allen.¹

     Sally was born.¹ She was the daughter of Elder Daniel Cory and Martha Bedell. She married Stephen Bebout.¹ Sally died on 5 July 1843.¹

Religion: The Bibau webpage lists, 9 Apr 1763,a typo presumably.^2,1 Stephen died circa 1831.²
