Mayflower Connection

So far as we know, my family does not have a direct genetic line to the Mayflower and Plymouth Colony. However, my cousins Adam Long, Virginia Long Hutson, and Rick Miller have proved their line back to five passengers on the Mayflower in 1620:

My great grandmother MARTHA ANN BAKER married, as her second husband, Green Edward Miller. One of their sons, Joseph Anderson Miller married Olive Mary Wright. It is Olive's line that brings in the Mayflower connection. Adam, Virginia, and Rick are grandchildren of Joseph and Olive. Therefore they are actually (half) second cousins of mine.

The cousins have proved connections to the Mayflower along two different paths, both to the satisfaction of the Mayflower Society. The first is to the famous marriage of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins. The second is to Richard Warren.
